USA Ox Tongue is extremely juicy, tender and rich in taste. Each chilled ox tongue weighs about 800g, the small piece is good for sharing amongst 4 persons. The ox tongue has been properly cleaned, the coating and fascia are removed, which eases the preparation and cooking processes.
A maximum of 2kg of ox tongue can be taken from cattle, so it is extremely precious! A must try is to cut 1/4-inch thickness for grilling or equally good are 1/2-inch cut slices for panfrying or barbecue, add a pinch of sea salt to enhance the flavor. Tasty, tender and scrumptious!
